Café – World Heritage Map
Mission
The main focus of the project is on the heritage of the European café house culture, which has defined the Enlightenment period and most of the „European values” are routed in the heritage of it. The project aims to revitalize this fading culture through artists, building on its heritage with artists, whom were the leading force of social change till the beginning of the 20th century. The project not only aims to go back to the routes of the current Europe, but also to revisit the period when artists were the leading force of social change, defining many of the contemporary values. As Europe is facing new challenges can revisit this well-established methodology and built on its merit to use art again to find answers on our challenges again.
