EU Café – International training opening roundtable
Date: 19 January 2026
Join us at Budapest’s historic Hadik House for the public opening of our international training program on cultural ecosystems to explore the role of café houses. At the opening roundtable we will discuss how heritage spaces can adapt through artistic collaboration and social innovation. What are the roles of café houses lately? How do they contribute to the local cultural ecosystem? Are they still the venues of innovative and game-changing ideas? We will have 10 international guests attending the event from all over Europe.
Gain exclusive insights into contemporary European tendencies and best practices through expert lightning talks before we transit into our closed-door workshops. Connect with international peers to master new methodologies and preserve the future of our urban meeting grounds.
Following the introduction of the training week’s topic, we will host an exclusive roundtable discussion featuring key players from the Bartók Quarter, including representatives from Adaptér, Hadik and KÉK. Together, we will explore how heritage spaces and creative hubs drive urban revitalization and adapt to 21st-century challenges.
