A shared future for Europe’s café houses — and an invitation to join!
At the CAFÉ project’s closing conference in Budapest on 28–29 September, the network’s Manifesto and Code of Conduct were officially launched and signed by its first members: a milestone in building the Network of European Café Houses.
Together, these documents establish the network’s shared values and practical commitments. The Manifesto recognises café houses as living cultural spaces where people, ideas, heritage and creativity meet. The Code of Conduct puts this vision into practice through fair treatment, inclusive cultural programming, environmental and economic responsibility, and the sharing of knowledge and experience.
🌍 The network is growing — and your café can be part of it!
Do you run a café house, literary café or community venue where culture is part of everyday life? Join a European community to exchange ideas, learn from fellow venues and explore future collaborations.
